Lifetime Health Welcomes New Physician Assistant in Amherst

NEWS RELEASE — June 1, 2012

BUFFALO, NY — Carrie Farr McPherson, RPA-C, has joined the provider team at Lifetime Health Medical Group. She began seeing patients of all ages at the Amherst Health Center in early May and is welcoming new patients.

McPherson earned her degree in Physician Assistant Studies from D’Youville College, and a bachelor’s in Health and Wellness from Buffalo State College. She is a New York State board-certified physician assistant.

McPherson’s preference in health care is family medicine “because it allows me to build relationships with patients and utilize my care philosophy which emphasizes preventive medicine through a holistic approach,” she says.

McPherson cared for patients for several years in primary care settings in Williamsville and Oneonta, New York, prior to joining Lifetime Health. She is a member of the Western New York Physician Assistant Association and the New York State Society of Physician Assistants.
