Our Philosophy
At Lifetime Health Pediatrics we strive to provide high quality, comprehensive health care for your children from birth through 18 years of age. We Offer:
- Preventive Care: Monitor growth, development and behavior, screen for early signs of disease and administer immunizations to prevent serious illnesses.
- Sick Care: Diagnose and treat illness.
- Emotional Health: Identify and help parents treat behavioral and emotional problems in their children or family.
We recognize and value the uniqueness of each of our families. Our goal is to provide care that meets your individual needs. We encourage parents to be advocates for their children and are happy to address any concerns you may have.
Our Practice
Lifetime Health Pediatrics has providers available at three health centers conveniently located throughout the Rochester area. We also offer separate affiliated pediatric offices that are perfect for patients interested in smaller office-based settings. We offer flexible hours, including evenings and Saturday, because we understand that a family's time is precious.
We are proud to be part of a medical group that calls itself the "Doctor's Office with a Difference." Our health centers are designed to meet the needs of patients by providing primary care and specialty services under the same roof. Our affiliated private pediatric offices also have access to services offered through the health centers. Some of the features that make our group unique are:
- Pediatric Nurse Advice - Our nurses are available until midnight for phone advice. They can answer questions about routine care and illnesses at all times. There is also a pediatrician on-call.
- On-site Pharmacies - Most health centers have a full-service pharmacy in the building for your convenience. Almost all of your prescription and over-the-counter medications can be obtained quickly and efficiently without driving to an outside pharmacy. The pharmacists will provide you detailed information about medications and address any special concerns.
- On-site X-ray Services - We also have x-ray services available on site. This allows our patients to have routine radiology procedures done without going to an outside facility.
- Lab Services - Laboratory services are also on site for the convenience of our patients and their families. Our lab technicians draw blood, run tests and communicate with providers and patients about results.
- AfterHours Medical Care - We understand that not all medical problems arise at convenient times. Our group offers urgent care by appointment on evenings and weekends at multiple locations. If your child has a minor injury or illness outside of normal office hours, AfterHours gives you an option for quality urgent care that may help you avoid long waits in an emergency room.
- Hospitalization - We see newborns from several area hospitals. If your child needs to be hospitalized for illness, we primarily utilize Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong and Rochester General Hospital's Pediatric Department. We work closely with the on-site hospital physicians to ensure effective communication with all the providers caring for your child.
- Other Unique Advantages - Certified Lactation Consultants, Healthy StepsSM, Reach Out and Read Program
Courtesy visits are available for parents and their children who are looking for a new health care provider. We welcome new patients and families and look forward to establishing a long-term relationship based on the health and wellness of your child.
