ROCHESTER, NY— Lifetime Health Medical Group has hired board-certified family medicine practitioner Lisa M. Hauk, M.D., M.M.M. Hauk began seeing patients at the Joseph C. Wilson Health Center (800 Carter Street) on February 1.

Hauk relocated to Rochester from Nevada, most recently serving as associate medical director for the Health Plan of Nevada, in Las Vegas. She also served as division chief, northwest, for Southwest Medical Associates in Las Vegas and has been in private practice as a family physician.

She earned her B.A. in biology from the University of Rochester and her Doctor of Medicine from Albany Medical College. She also earned a Master of Medical Management degree from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business, in Los Angeles, Calif. Hauk completed a family medicine residency at Wilson Memorial Hospital/SUNY HSC-Syracuse, in Johnson City, N.Y. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, American College of Physician Executives, American Headache Society, and the National Headache Foundation.
